Content : 

1. Basic concepts of the Finite Element Method
2. Derivation of Shape functions and Stiffness matrices and force vectors.
3. One Dimensional and Two Dimensional Problems
4. Plane stress, plane strain and axisymmetric problems
5. Transverse deflections and Natural frequencies of beams.
6. Isoparametric formulation.
7. Longitudinal vibration frequencies and mode shapes.
8. Dynamic problems.
9. Software training on Finite Element Analysis .

Eligibility :  

Faculty members working from AICTE approved Institutions to Anna University  can attend this programe .
