The Department of Mechanical Engineering ,University College of Engineering,Kancheepuram has organized the FDTP "ME6301-Engineering Thermodynamics" on 18th June to 24th June 2018 .

Aim : 

To train the teachers employed in AICTE approved and Anna University affiliated institutions and upgrading their knowledge in the area of Engineering Thermodynamics. 

Topics : 

Thermodynamic Equilibrium, Zeroth law of thermodynamics
Carnot cycle.. Energy and irreversibility.
Properties of pure substances and steam power cycle
Maxwell relations, Clausius Clapeyron equation,
Properties of gas mixture –Gibbs function 

Who can attend ? 

Faculty members who are working in the Department of Mechanical /Production/ Aeronautical/
Automobile Engineering from Colleges Affiliated Colleges of Anna University can attend this program .
