The Institute of Remote Sensing, Anna University has announced the requirement for the post of Project Associate-I for the various projects at the Institute of Remote Sensing, Anna University, Chennai-25.

1. Project Name : Landuse / Landcover Analysis (Third Cycle) (temporal analysis between 2011-12 and 2015-16)

Essential Qualification : B.E.Civil Engg./Geoinformatics/ M.Sc Geology/ Geoinformatics/ Geography / Remote Sensing ( > 4 years of professional education after +2) One year experience RS & GIS
Work involves GIS & RS analysis and mapping
Salary : Rs.15,000—Rs.30,000/- 

2. Project Name : Monitoring of Integrated Watershed Programme (IWMP) watersheds using Geospatial technologies

3. Project Name : Empowering Panchayati Raj Institutions Spatially (EPRIS)

4. Project Name : National Wastelands Change Analysis (temporal analysis between 2008-09 and 2015-16)

5. Project Name : The Study of Landslide Related Surface Displacement Using Sar Interferometry on selected regions by 25km x 25km most vulnerable Landslide affected area of Mandakini valley, Uttaranchal India

7. Project Name : Development of the framework for networking programme on “Village information System (VIS)”Under NRDMS”

Essential Qualification : B.E (Civil/Geo/Agriculture) /MCA experience in form development for field data collection is desirable with working knowledge on GIS, inclined to work in field for long duration
Salary : Rs.10,000/- 

Note : 

Preference will be given to candidates having relevant experience in their field.
All post are purely on temporary basis and on consolidated salary.
No TA/DA will be paid.
