Modernization in Bioinformatics and Big Data - National Level Workshop - Anna University, BIT Campus 

The Department of Biotechnology,Ministry of Science & Technology ,Government of India sponsored the National Level Workshop "Modernization in Bioinformatics and Big Data"   Organised by the department of Computer Applications,Anna University,BIT Campus Trichy on 19th December to 26th December 2016 .

Objective : 

To enhance the skill domain of faculty members for the promotion of Multidisciplinary research in Bioinformatics.
To provide a comprehensive introduction to Bioinformatics utility Software’s.
To train the inherent structure of biological information
To empathize on the concepts involved in Computational Biology and the application of machine learning algorithms.
To train the participants with a in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of MATLAB, PerI, python, MYSQL and R.
To provide cutting-edge information on all areas of Bioinformatics and novel Big Data analytic approaches.

Faculty members from Colleges affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and research scholars .

Registration details : 

Registration is on First Come – First Served basis only 
Only limited number of seats (30) are available..
No TA/DA will be paid 

Registration fee details : 

For faculty members : Rs. 500/-
For research scholars : Rs. 400/- 

The registration fee should be paid by DD in favour of "HOD/MCA" payable at Trichy .
