The Department of Electronics & Communication KCG College of Technology  (Unit of Hindustan Group of Institutions) Karapakkam, Chennai – 600 097  is Organized  the National Level Two day Faculty Development Programme  “Network Simulator (NS-2) For Wireless Networks ” on 21st Oct & 22nd Oct 2016 .

Course Content : 

Basic concepts of Networks
Emphasis on networking in Industry/ Research
Introduction and Installation of NS2
TCL programming
Plotting X graph
Trace file analysis using AWK scripts
Working with simple examples
Hands on session - wired networks
Hands on session - wireless networks
C++ and OTCL Integration method
Hands on session – Implementation of new protocols and
performance evaluation of routing protocols
Hands on session – Energy & Security model

Target of Audience : 

Faculty members, PG students,Research scholars and persons working in R & D organizations and Industries.

Registration fee details :  

For Faculty/PG Students: Rs. 1,000/- 
For Participants from Industry: Rs. 1,500/ 
The registration fee should be paid by Demand Draft in favour of “The Principal, KCG College of Technology, Chennai.”
