Applications are invited for the temporary post of Project Scientist , Project Associate & Field Assistant  for the various projects at the Institute of Remote Sensing, Anna University, Chennai-25. 

1. Land use / Land cover Analysis (Third Cycle) (temporal analysis between 2011-12 and 2015-16)

Essential Qualification  : Ph.D/Equivalent Industrial / R & D experience (minimum 4 years after PG)
Nature of Work :  RS & GIS and Technical Supervision

Name of the post        :  Project Associate-1
Salary                        :  Rs.15,000— Rs.30,000/-
No of post                  :  3(Three)
Essential Qualification  : B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc /MCA/ or equivalent ( > 4 years of professional education after +2) –Experience with RS & GIS Preferable
Nature of  Work :  GIS & RS analysis and mapping  

2. Empowering Panchayat Raj Institutions Spatially (EPRIS)

Name of the post        :  Project Scientist
Salary                        :   Rs.25,000— Rs.60,000/-

Essential Qualification  : Ph.D/Equivalent Industrial / R & D experience (minimum 4 years after PG)
Nature of Work :  RS & GIS and Technical Supervision

Essential Qualification  :  B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc /MCA or equivalent ( > 4 years of professional education after +2) Experience with RS & GIS Preferable .
Nature of Work :  GIS & RS analysis and mapping  

Field Assistant – 1 No
Salary : Rs.3,000—Rs.9,000/-
Essential Qualification  : SSLC or equivalent

3. National Wastelands Change Analysis (temporal analysis between 2008-09 and 2015-16)

Essential Qualification  :  B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc /MCA or equivalent ( >4 years of professional education after +2) Experience with RS & GIS Preferable –
Nature of Work :  GIS & RS analysis and mapping  

Name of the post : Project Technician
Salary : Rs.8,000—Rs.15,000/-
No of post                  :  1(One)
Essential Qualification  :  Diploma or equivalent ( > 3 years of education after +2)

Note : 

Salary will be fixed based on the experience
No TA/DA is permissible for attending the interview.
The tentative date of interview will be informed later
