University College of Engineering - Thirukkuvalai was established in 2008 with a view to promote and offer technical education in rural areas .The college is situated at Thirukkuvalai about 25 kms from TiruvarurTown.The FDTP is intended to provide opportunity for young faculty members from Engineering Colleges affiliated to Anna University to enrich their knowledge in the area of Grid and Cloud Computing.
