REVISED INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS HOSTEL ADMISSION NOTIFICATION - Oct 2012
University for the academic year 2012-13 from the FOREIGN MALE STUDENTS pursuing
the following courses at Osmania University:
I. P.G. and Ph.D. Courses in the Campus & Constituent Colleges of Osmania University
and
2. Undergraduate students (B.E. /B.PharmaCY/B.C.A./B.B.A./B.A./B.Com /B Sc etc) in the
Constituent and Affiliated Colleges of Osmania University.
The last date for submission of application form for admission into the International Students’ Hostel (ISH), O.U. has been extended till November 10, 2012. Hence, all the UG/ PG/Ph.D. foreign students are hereby informed to obtain application forms from the Office of the University Foreign Relations Office, O.U. on production of Demand Draft for Rs. 100/- in favour of Director, UFRO, O.U. from any Nationalized Bank, payable at Hyderabad.
The revised Tariff for Hostel is as follows:
Double occupancy (two-seated room) Rs. 2,500/- per head per month *
Triple occupancy (three-seated room) Rs. 1,500/- per head per month *
*For JCCR scholars the entire HRA shall be deducted.
The filled-in application forms, endorsed by the Principal of the colleges shall be submitted at the office on or before the stipulated date along with the following documents:
1. Marks memo of qualifying examination.
2. Copy of passport & Visa.
3. Residential Permit.
4. 2 Passport size Photos.
It may be noted that there is limited accommodation available in the ISH, UFRO, O.U. and no applicant shall have right to seek admission as a matter of right. The decision of the University Authority shall be final in allotment of rooms. Application forms and further details can be obtained from the office of the University Foreign Relations Office, O.U.
