Usually, Students who have finished SSLC (10th) can join Polytechnic Diploma courses, and students who finished HSC (12th) can join directly into Second year of the Diploma course. But AICTE had announced the new changes for admission from this academic year.
Changes :
The New Rules announced by AICTE for Admission are "Only HSC (12th) students who took 3rd group (Vocational) can join directly into 2nd year of Diploma, Students who took other group can't join directly to 2nd year of Diploma."
